WAREHAM WALKS FOR THE HOMELESS - MAY 17 - 1:00PM
The annual Wareham Walks for the Homeless is planned for Sunday, May 17th. This fun and healthy community-wide event is hosted by the Wareham Clergy Association, and all event proceeds benefit Turning Point programs. Turning Point is a 501c3 not for profit Resource Center that supports and advocates for Wareham neighbors’ facing and struggling with housing insecurity – and that offers programs that provide aid, material goods, shelter and counsel to our homeless friends.
The 5-mile walk begins at the Church of the Good Shepherd (74 High Street) at 1pm on May 17th. Pizza, fruit and drinks will be available to the walkers at the conclusion of the walk. Supporters of Turning Point are encouraged to participate as a walker and to invite family and friends to support their effort with a donation as a sponsor.
Sponsor sheets may be downloaded from the Turning Point website. Walkers that achieve more than $100 in donations will receive a free Wareham Walks for the Homeless 2026 tee shirt!
Our thanks to the Wareham Clergy Association for their continued support of Turning Point.
